The quality and texture of the outer casing contributes to the feel of the pillow.

If you require a firm pillow, you need a higher percentage of feather.
If you desire a cloud like pillow you need a higher percentage of down.

This category of pillows is generally not suitable for people with specific head, neck and shoulder problems. They can also, at times, trigger allergies in some sleepers.
