Two generations later, Emile Brun married Laurent’s granddaughter and the company was renamed Brun de Vian-Tiran.

Eight generations and more than 200 years later, their direct descendants, Pierre Brun and his son Jean-Louis, continue the adventure. As do local families of true craftsmen and women who have accompanied the factory through the generations.

These provide plenty of warmth and adapt to temperature changes. They keep you cool when the temperature is warm and warm when the temperature is cool. Wool is naturally fire resistant, breathable and moisture-wicking. Promoting a comfortable, dry, cool sleep.

Cashmere, merino wool, mohair, camel hair blankets are very popular.

COTTON BLANKETS

These are soft and hypoallergenic making them the perfect choice for allergy sufferers, babies or people with sensitive skin. They are breathable, keep you cool on a hot night and add a cozy weight to your bedding.

FLEECE BLANKETS

This synthetic fabric is more lightweight than wool and a great substitute for it.  It is soft and cosy, helps wick moisture away from your body and provides warmth on a cold night. Fleece blankets can be washed and dried at home.

ACRYLIC BLANKETS

Acrylic is a 100% synthetic man-made material which is warm, light-weight, hypo-allergenic and can imitate the feeling of wool and cashmere.  

Acrylic blankets are machine washable for easy cleaning at home. Their colors do not fade with regular washing.
